Introduction
The purpose of Connect is to connect people with an interest in Hollaroo to enable them to find people, jobs, business and relationships. The service is delivered over the Internet.
Being part of Connect means sharing information about yourself with other members, communicating with them, as well as working privately on your own. The amount and type of information you decide to share, and with whom you share it, is up to you within boundaries defined by Hollaroo.
Who sees your personal information
There are the four main types of personal information on Connect:
Secure information: This is information used to control access to the system, for example your password. We store this securely and no-one else has access to it.
Information about yourself that you share: This includes the information in your profile. You have control over what you share and you can update the information and how it is shared at any time.
Content you create and share: We help you communicate with other members. Some of this is one-to-one, some of it is in groups, and some of it is public discussion. You decide who gets to see this content when you create it.
Information about activity on the system: Information on your activity in the system is recorded and used, for example, to help you keep track of pages you have viewed. This is also used as part of the governance of the site. This information is only accessible by you and the system administrators.
How we use your information
Hollaroo (the "Company" or "we") only use your information to better understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to share information with you that is interesting or relevant to you.
If you are interested in a business relationship with Hollaroo, for example applying for a job or supplying a service, and you use Connect to express that interest we will use the relevant information in evaluating your proposal.
Who we share your information with
We will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with other Company entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described in "How we use your information".
Such entities and/or business partners are governed by our privacy policies with respect to the use of this data and are bound by appropriate confidentiality agreements.
How you can access or correct your information
Hollaroo will strive to keep information about yourself accurate. We will provide you with access to your information, including making every effort to provide you with online access to your registration data so that you may view, update or correct your information at the site where it was submitted. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access or enabling you to make corrections. You can access information about yourself at any time you wish by accessing your profile on Connect.
How you can delete or remove your information
If you would like to erase or remove your personal data you can go this via the settings page on Connect. If you choose the Remove Account option your account will be permanently deleted and all your details removed from the system.
Our commitment to data security
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
